My BlogggggApril 23 After Project and About Echo Magazine汉声杂志After CIS project and Design for the majority project, I start to learn and find what is really chinese tradition it is .From an ancient envelope to chinese hydropower mill, I am so ashamed that I even don`t know anything of my culture.
so when I started my project , I started to learn from our ancestor.Started to learn the aesthetics from the Furniture of Ming dynasty.Like Hans Wegner ,But Wegner is a master ,but I am not .The "Round Chair" is pretty great,he took the essence from the Ming Furniture .but if we just have a deep looking,we found a fir chair can`t take the place of a rose wood chair.The problem is not because of the material ,but because of the culture,tradition ,handcraft... As a great designer and as a danish designer , Wegner did a good job even better than any chinese designers. But he is a spectator to our culture , design ,tradition and handcraft.
So when my teacher sent us a video about 黄永松 and 汉声杂志Echo Magazine,I found our project just extreme less to the research of tradition.
August 31 Banana ManToday , I have seen a very wonderful movie.It is Shanghai Kiss.This story happened in my city ,shanghai . It tells a story about a struggling Chinese-American actor Liam Liu(Ken Leung),who unwittingly friends himself involved with a high school girl,learns he has inherited his grandma`s house in Shanghai ,the America raised character moves to china in an attempt to connect with his ancestry ,leaving behind quite possibly the only girl (Hayden Panettiere)who has ever loved him.
I find many famaliar city scapes in this movie which I have never pay attention. The Bund , JinMao Tower , HuangPu River the Bars and Pubs here in the night seems wonderful.In the movie , Liam Liu is a America Born Chinese.We call this kind people "Banana Man".Because their appearance is chinese,their skin is yellow .but they live in an American Way .
Most of Banana Man are confused where belongs to them.At begining of this movie, as an actor Liam go to do a screen test for a film.And he was asked ,"Can you play Kungfu ?Can you speak Chinese ?..."and then when he comes back from china ,He told his friend ,"I am a guy there , but not a chinese guy ."and many of his thinking is conflict.He likes the beautiful, morden city but he hates the s*ck movies shanghai.so where is their home ?It`s really so hard to say .
Anyway , This movie is wonderful.And I like Hayden Panettiere in it .Last time I saw her in the "HERO'' as a cheerleader .She is a nice girl.
August 29 Great Kungfu ,Wingtsunyesterday night .I have watched a TV show about Wingtsun.In chinese is 咏春拳．It`s really great .Wingtsun is also a kind of chinese Kungfu like Taiji Boxing .maybe you know Bruce Lee.but you just know Bruce plays chinese Kungfu .In fact he plays not only Kungfu ,but Wingtsun.
Wingtsun is really a great martrial art.It was handed from Shaolin Temple which is famous from Kungfu.there was a story told,a big strong guy who wanted to launched an attack to a little beautiful girl.Unfortunately,the girl can play Wingtsun .and she kept down that guy .So man , take care ,please not to approach some beautiful lil girls..lol
 ..maybe she is also a Wingtsun player.who knows?! Every action in Wingtsun is very subtle.It is only professedly easy .Just like Confucius,it`s easy to read but hard to learn.A not noticeable action sometimes is fatal.
 Many girls and boys are learning Yoga to keep fit .In my campus , there are a lot of clubs teach yoga,hip-hop dancing ,taekwondo(it`s from Korea)why not is Wingtsun .Because Wingtsun is a difficult matrial art . it was not just kungfu ,or a way to keep fit but it is also a philosophy.It takes time and strength.
so now we should know not everyone can be a great star like Bruce Lee.  February 07 A French IntroductionBonjour!

February 01 How hard French !!!These days I wanna learning French .Though I have know a little about it before.But I am still a fool in French .LoL~I just heared French just got nearly 7500 words totally.So I thought it should be easier than English .But When I touch it ,I felt down.I thought I had got Talent in learning language before ,But Now I don`t think so.Because I don`t know how to pronouce French.
A friend of mine who is from France told me that a french word somtimes got several meanings .It`s so amazing!! |
